Proper Bolognese



  • Vegetable chilli


  • 25g x aubergine
  • 25g x courgette
  • 25g x green pepper
  • ½ tsp x dried oregano
  • ½ tsp x dried thyme
  • ½ tsp garlic salt
  • ½ tsp onion salt
  • ¼ tsp x fennel seeds
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon Basil
  • Salt and pepper


  • 25g x red pepper
  • 25g x yellow pepper
  • 25g x onion/shallot
  • 1 tsp x sweetener


  • Dice the vegetables, season with salt, pepper, herbs and spices.
  • Place in a tin foil pouch and bake for 10 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
  • Make up the Bolognese sachet by adding 140 ml of boiling water and microwaving for one minute.
  • Combine the vegetables with the Bolognese and add the sweetener. Re-check the seasoning.I like to serve this Bolognesewith courgetti, you may also like to add some freshly torn basil.

Best thing since a slice of cake.!
