Pasta al’Arrabiata

Ingredients

Sachet:

  • Pasta
  • Tomato Sauce

Unlimited:

  • ½ tsp chilli flakes
  • ½ tsp garlic salt
  • ½ tsp onion salt
  • 1courgette
  • 5 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tsp x red wine vinegar
  • Sea salt & black pepper

Limited:

  • 200g fresh tomato
  • 1 tbsp x olive oil
  • 1 tsp x sweetener

Method

  • Dice the tomato and sweat in a saucepan with the tomato sauce sachet, sweetener, salts & chilli flakes. Cook out for 10 minutes.
  • Dice the courgette, season and roast in the oven for 10 minutes at 200 degrees.
  • Blend the tomato sauce with the basil leaves and pass through a sieve. Check the seasoning, add the vinegar and keep warm in a pan.
  • Cook the pasta in boiling salted water for 9 minutes.
  • Combine the cooked pasta, sauce and courgettes. Pour into a bowl then drizzle with the olive oil.  We recommend to finish mine with lots of freshly ground black pepper.

Best thing since a slice of cake.! After seeing a picture of myself at Christmas 2015, l decided to do something so l took the plunge and phoned Alevere.  Hard bit done, the diet is simple, follow it as advised, and watch the pounds fall off, and they literally did.  The hardest thing is walking through the doors, but remember everyone there is in your shoes. I feel 21 again.
