Mexican Taco / Flatbread



  • Pizza Dough


  • 50g x smoked
  • aubergine puree
  • ¼ tsp garlic salt
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp paprika


  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl to form a smooth paste.
  • Spread onto a non-stick mat or baking parchment roughly 16 cm in diameter.
  • Bake for 12 to 14 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
  • To make the Taco shape fold the flat bread around a glass or a bottle when it comes out of the oven and allow to cool.
  • To finish the taco fill with some salad, half a portion of Alevere vegetable chilli and some homemade pickled jalapenos

Best thing since a slice of cake.! After seeing a picture of myself at Christmas 2015, l decided to do something so l took the plunge and phoned Alevere.  Hard bit done, the diet is simple, follow it as advised, and watch the pounds fall off, and they literally did.  The hardest thing is walking through the doors, but remember everyone there is in your shoes. I feel 21 again.
