• 250ml x water
  • 1 x lemon –juice & zest
  • Chopped chives
  • 1 tsp x onion salt
  • 1tsp x garlic salt
  • Pepper


  • 250g x macadamia nuts
  • 100g x onion –finely diced
  • 6 tblsp x yeast flakes
  • 1 tblsp x olive oil


  • Boil the macadamias in the water for 30 mins, topping up with more water as required. (you should retain 250ml once cooked)
  • Sweat the onion in the olive oil then mix through the salts and lemon zest. Leave to cool.
  • Blend the macadamias in 250ml of the cooking water with the lemon juice & yeast flakes.
  • Mix through the onion mix and allow to cool before mixing in the chives.
  • Taste for seasoning and adjust with salt and pepper as required.
  • Refrigerate and use within 3 –5 days.

Best thing since a slice of cake.! After seeing a picture of myself at Christmas 2015, l decided to do something so l took the plunge and phoned Alevere.  Hard bit done, the diet is simple, follow it as advised, and watch the pounds fall off, and they literally did.  The hardest thing is walking through the doors, but remember everyone there is in your shoes. I feel 21 again.
