Today we sat down with Hayley, a therapist at Alevere, so you can get an insight into her personality and why she loves Alevere.

Hayley has worked for Alvere since 2008. She leads a very busy life away from work, regularly meeting with friends for social occasions including visiting the theatre, the races and meals out. She loves watching just about every sport (with only a few exceptions!) and especially has a keen interest in football and rugby league, having passionately followed the  Leeds Rhinos for over 40 years! Hayley practises what she preaches when it comes to health as a keen runner and yogi. Her family is also a huge part of her life and she loves spending time with her husband and grown up daughters.

What do you enjoy most about working for Alevere?

I enjoy seeing the transformation in each person I treat. It isn’t just the physical appearance that changes with weight loss, but the confidence and positivity in everyone’s lives. It truly is life changing.

What surprises you about the clients?

Their determination to succeed with Alevere when they have tried lots of other plans that haven’t worked for them. Even if they face challenges they are in a good position to overcome them.

Why do you work for Alevere?

I have worked for the company since 2008 as a Therapist, then Head Therapist and also as Head of Training. I have enjoyed the variety of roles including treating the clients as well as training new members of staff to become enthusiastic therapists and to be proud of their roles.

What is the most challenging part of your role?

I would definitely say this would be to give the right amount of encouragement and the correct advice to our clients when difficulties and challenges with food and meal situations arise. Family pressures, work situations, weddings and meals out are often part of everyday life. Making sure that the plan can still be followed in tricky circumstances can be worrying for people. The therapist’s role is  to give practical advice  and recognise that this is an important part of being successful in the weight loss journey. This can be challenging.

How would you describe Alevere in three words?

Life Changing Therapy

What can clients expect when they have their first appointment?

They can expect a warm, friendly and reassuring experience from our team. Often the clients are nervous, embarrassed and a bit apprehensive of what to expect. The staff are experienced at this and well able to deal with a range of emotions. On a practical level, they will complete a full health check including bloods obtained.

Why is Alevere different?

Our program is a medical weight loss plan, which is led by a team of doctors and includes regular health checks. This includes enjoyable treatments to reduce fat and tighten the skin, which is unique. We offer a good after care program to help maintain weight once they have reached their target weight.
